Gettin’ My Wash On

This swine flu epidemic is really starting to be a cause for concern.

It seems as though everyother year or so we have a huge flu outbreak that causes the US to response in drastic measures to prevent every one from getting sick.

If you ask me, I would say we’re doing the right thing. It’s better to be over cautious than underprepared.

Apparently the World Health Organization raised the alert system for this outbreak to a phase four. This is the highest the alert has been for a while. In 2004, the bird flu outbreak rose the alert to a phase three.

I think the most important thing for all of us to do is be smart about it. Wash your hands more than normal,don’t share drinks or food and stay clear of things that you would have to have direct contact with people. It’s common sense.

So be smart and safe. Don’t forget to wash those hands!
